Narasi Nusantara

love bali

Narasi Nusantara is a means of the region to show their local richness through the promotion and publication of creative works and flagship products by local generations. These includes art, culture, cuisine, crafts, destinations, and other tourism industry products. The purpose of this event is to revitalize the ITIC building post-pandemic, provide a platform for local generations to create their creativity programs, and act as a showcase for cultural arts, flagship and tourism products. Narasi Nusantara will be organized by the Indonesia Tourism Information Centre (ITIC), choosing the theme "Pasar Betawi."

It is a showcase for the special capital region of Jakarta to introduce its arts, culture, local culinary, crafts, renowned films, and tourism destinations. These include both new destinations with extraordinary growth and historical destinations presented in an engaging manner to attract tourists visiting Bali. The Betawi Market itself is a unique traditional market from the Betawi culture, the indigenous ethnic group of Jakarta. This market offers a variety of goods that reflect the daily life of the Betawi community, ranging from food and handicrafts to traditional clothing. Moreover, the Betawi Market often features a lively atmosphere with performances of Betawi arts and culture, such as Gambang Kromong, Ondel-Ondel, and Lenong.

Visitors can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of a Betawi village, taste the Betawi delicacies like Kerak Telor, Bir Pletok, and other signature snacks, while exploring local handicrafts. Narasi Nusantara will also feature local musicians, traditional dancers, workshops, and film screenings.

In this year, especially the implementation of Narasi Nusantara with the theme “Pasar Betawi” which will be held at the TIC Building in Kuta, Badung Regency, the Bali Provincial Government has the opportunity to present Balinese dances and dance studios as a form of participation and support for this event.
