Omed-Omedan, also known as the "Kissing Tradition," is a unique Balinese cultural event celebrated exclusively in Sesetan Village. Held on Ngembak Geni, the day after Nyepi, this joyful festival is a symbol of togetherness, harmony, and youthful spirit.

What Happens at Omed-Omedan?

Young men and women (17-30 years old) from the village gather
 Two groups (male & female) face each other, then embrace and "kiss" while being splashed with water
Traditional music and lively cheers from the crowd create a festive atmosphere
 A sacred ritual to ask for blessings and ward off bad luck

This event is not just about fun—it carries deep cultural and spiritual meaning, strengthening social bonds and ensuring prosperity for the community.
