Kesanga Fest 2026 is a platform dedicated to appreciating and evaluating the creativity of young people through the art of ogoh-ogoh in Denpasar. The festival is held as part of the series of events leading up to Nyepi, particularly during the month of Kesanga in the Balinese Saka calendar.

Through Kesanga Fest, youth groups (sekaa teruna) from various villages and banjar across Denpasar present their finest ogoh-ogoh creations, rich in philosophical meaning, artistic value, and innovative design. Each work is assessed based on its concept, craftsmanship, aesthetics, and the message conveyed, making the festival both a platform for guidance and a means of preserving tradition.

Kesanga Fest 2026 not only showcases the grandeur of ogoh-ogoh art, but also symbolizes the spirit of creativity, healthy competition, and the strong commitment of the younger generation to sustainably safeguard Bali’s cultural heritage.
