Kokokan

Panorama of rice fields and plantations which are inhabited by cranes in white groups, making DTW Kokokan has its own uniqueness.The Kokokan herd is protected, even every 6 months there is a ritual to honor it during the Kuningan Day. Residents make offerings and pray at Puseh lan Dalem Temple. The villagers, who received Kalpataru in 1991 for their efforts to protect these animals, believe in the protection of Ida Gede Kokokan, the sacred name for this flock of white-dominated birds.
