Nusa Penida Kite Festival is an activity held to revive the tourism sector on Nusa Penida Island and as a forum for kite hobbyist to show their creativity. This kite competition was held by the Nusa Penida Tourism Activist Association (HPPNP) in collaboration with the Klungkung Tourism Office. This activity is expected to be an event to promote and preserve kite art and culture. There are around 36 kites with the total of 86 kites in various categories which are participated.
